General information
Born on March 8, 1967 in Gomel. He is a candidate for master of sports in track and field athletics, and also has 1st dan in karate.
Education
In 1984 he graduated from secondary school No. 12 in Gomel. In 1990 he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education, specialty "Physical Education" of the educational establishment "Francisk Skorina Gomel State University". In 1994 he graduated from the postgraduate study at VNIIFK, Moscow (supervisor - Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor V.G. Nikitushkin). In 1994 he received the degree of candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor - in 2000.
Professional way
Since 2001 he has been working as the head of the department of physical education and sports. Conducts practical classes with students of the Faculty of Physical Education in the courses "Biomechanics" and "Improving sports skills." Supervises postgraduates and undergraduates studying at the Faculty of Physical Education. He is the coach of the university's national karate team.
He defended his Ph.D. thesis on "The structure of training loads of 15-16 short-distance runners based on their individual characteristics." He is the head of the scientific state budgetary theme of the department. Author of over 400 scientific and scientific-methodical works in the field of theory and methodology of physical culture, sports pedagogy. Supervises the student scientific circle of the department. Member of the Council of the Faculty of Physical Education. He is also a member of the permanent attestation commission of university researchers.
